• The structural approach that modifies the spectroscopic properties of Cr 3+ was proposed. incorporation Ln ions induce distortion [CrO 6 ] 9- octahedral. thermal enhancement obtained. proposed enables an increase in S R luminescent thermometers. Ratiometric luminescence thermometry for remote temperature sensing has been constantly gaining increasing popularity due to its simplicity with yet high precision. Transition metal still have underestimated potential area as their can be tuned by targeted modification host compound. In this work, we demonstrate concept phosphor LaScO 3 :Cr co-doping various lanthanide partially substitute La host. It is demonstrated incorporated affect bond lengths octahedra structure and thus, a subtle impact on local crystal field around ions. changes strength lead variation energy gap between thermally coupled 2 E ( g ) 4 T 2( states , which affects quenching behavior related 3d -3d luminescence. This immediate consequence future use together ratiometric allows selectively tune performance structurally sensitive ion.

The first luminescent Bi-Cd-organic framework, Bi2Cd(2,6-pdc)4(H2O)2·H2O (2,6-H2pdc = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate), has been synthesized by using bismuth (Bi) oxides and cadmium (Cd) salts as metal sources under hydrothermal conditions.
